| What are the functions and contents of the HiRecruit website? |
The website provides information on Taiwan's economic development, an overview of hi-tech development in Taiwan, a description of the contents of R&D plans, laws/regulations applying to foreigners wishing to work in Taiwan, and information on the living environment in Taiwan; the site has been designed to serve as a reference for both overseas hi-tech talent and medium and small enterprises. We welcome overseas hi-tech talent and the medium and small enterprises in Taiwan to make use of our services; both types of users can register as members free of charge. Our other activities include organizing groups to visit foreign countries and inviting overseas experts to visit Taiwan for discussions and negotiations. We provide overseas hi-tech talent and Taiwan 's enterprises with a platform for mat chi ng between supply and demand that is free of charge, while also offering relevant subsidies in a timely manner. It is our earnest hope that users in all sectors will participate actively in the site's operations, as well as providing us with constructive recommendations that will help us to ensure that maximum benefit is gained from the site.

| Why can I unable to log-in to the member area? |

Check if your ID and password are correct.

If both ID and password are correct and you still are unable to log-in, please check the type of membership you have chosen. Overseas professional must choose [Talent] and enterprises must choose [ Enterprise ]. |

When all information is correct and you still are unable to log-in or the IE version. To browse our website you must have IE 5.5 or newer version. To check your IE version you have to click on [Help], then there will appear an option [About Internet Explorer…] click on it then you can check the IE version you have. If your IE version need to be updated you can go the Microsoft Website to update it or clock on [Tool] and there is an option that says [Window Update], it will update your IE version for you automatically. |

| What should I do if I forget my password? |
For Talents: |

If you do not remember your password, you should go to the log-in page and click on “forgot password”. |

For Employers: |
| |
It is a little more complicated for the employers when they forgot their password. The first step you need to do is to send an e-mail to hirecruit@taitra.org.tw and let us know that you have forgot your password. In the e-mail you must give us the following information:
- The user ID that you registered on our website
- Your first and last name
- Your position
- Company's name
- E-mail address
After your information has been verified we will send you the password. This process takes 1 to 2 business days. Please be patient, we will solve the problem as soon as we can.

After your information has been verified we will send your user ID to your E-mail. This process usually takes about 1 to 2 business days. Thank you for your patient, we will solve the problem as soon as we can. |

After you have logged in, there will be an option that says “Change Password” on the left; click on it if you wish to change your password.

| Is it possible to change user ID
? |
| No, we do not provide this function on our website yet. Therefore we strongly recommend our members to choose on user ID that is easy to remember. Sorry for the inconvenience.

| How do I know if I have registered successfully? |
When the registration process is succeeded the window will appear “Thank you for signing up, we will verify your information.” Then, the page will go back to our website's frontpage automatically.

| After the registration how long does it take to make the user ID go into effect? |
Our website's services are provided only for enterprises that have established factory/company in Taiwan and professionals who obtain foreign diploma and working experience. Therefore, after you have registered for our membership it will take up to 3 to 5 business days for us to verify your information. After the verification process has been completed we will e-mail you, once you received our e-mail you an start using the services we provide.
